World Earth Day

At Zawadi Primary School, FADPE led a school-based activity to teach students about caring for the planet and keeping their surroundings clean.

Children learned why protecting the earth is everyone’s responsibility and took part in cleaning and weeding the schoolyard. They promised to keep their classrooms and playgrounds clean and to encourage their families to do the same at home.

This helped students understand how our everyday actions, such as proper waste disposal and sanitation, can prevent diseases such as cholera and malaria and make our community a healthier place.
