World Environment Day

Held in Goma’s Lac Vert district under the theme “Reimagine, Recreate, Restore,” this event brought together residents from Nyabyunyu Avenue to discuss threats such as erosion, deforestation, and landslides.

FADPE encouraged participants to reflect on how their daily activities affect the environment and how they can help restore local ecosystems. The discussions highlighted that protecting the planet is a shared responsibility and that every person’s involvement matters in building a safer, healthier environment for all.
